JJ Pyche

JJ graduated with a B.A. from Covenant College in 2008. At that time, he was introduced to the world of community development and working for non-profits. He took courses through the Chalmers Center and began to serve in the non-profit world alongside many of its partners. 

 

During those years, he worked at a non-profit urban camp and conference center in Annapolis, MD. It served the greater Washington, DC area for kids from diverse backgrounds. It was there that he partnered with the Department of Social Services (DSS), served at a rehabilitation center, led trips and trainings for high school and college students, and eventually oversaw an overnight residential program. 

 

He completed his graduate work in 2013 at the Reformed Theological Seminary and accepted a full-time staff position at Crossway Community Church in Charlotte, NC. He continues to be a community leader in the city of Charlotte with non-profits partnering with DSS (CFK, Alongside Families) and as a network leader with ForCLT.
